Willson, Meredith

Meredith Willson(1902-1984), American composer, songwriter, conductor and playwriter, studied flute at the Juilliard School of Music, a member of John Philip Sousa's Band and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. He moved to California , became director of KFRC and the NBC Network in Hollywood, he won the Tonny Award in 1958 for Broadway musical "The Music Man".
